2011 CLONCURRY BEEF LEADERS SALE

We are very humbled by the strong buyer support that was evident at this year's Cloncurry Beef Leaders Sale on Friday 9th September at the Cloncurry Saleyards.

Palgrove has been selling bulls into North Qld for many years and we have the utmost respect for the northern producers and their beef operations. We travelled to Cloncurry with a draft of Charolais and Charbray bulls that we were very proud of and it was extremely satisfying for us that those attending the sale recognised the quality of the bulls on offer.

Many described the bulls as the most consistent draft of quality beef bulls that had seen offered in the north.

The sale topped at $14,000 for Lot 4 (pictured left), a Palgrove Advocate son with exceptional length and growth. Our 32 Charolais bulls averaged $8,658 and 15 Charbray averaged $5560.

Thank you to our Co-Vendors Lancefield, Tartrus and Rondel for making Cloncurry such an outstanding event on the northern beef industry calendar and we look forward to the 2012 sale.
