Palgrove lists a limited number of Charolais semen sires for sale in Australia every year. These sires are selected for their balance of EBV’s, proven performance and ability to add value to the beef industry. Palgrove also supplies Charolais semen to a range of countries for use in seedstock and commercial operations, with quantities of exportable semen on hand at most times during the year for New Zealand, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. HERD SIRES

The bulls used at Palgrove are selected for their muscling, fertility and all have balanced EBV’s that compliment the female herd without "blowing out" in any one particular trait. We are fortunate that in the Charolais breed the diversity of markets that our genetics are bred for enables us to resist the temptation to follow a trend. The sires on this page we believe form a list of some of the best genetics used in Australia today from the USA, Canada, UK, France, NZ and our own bred bulls.

Our Brangus and Angus sires are selected to compliment the base black females that they are bred to maintain a high Bos Taurus content in our sale bulls. We have utilised the best USA genetics to enhance carcass, growth rate and meat quality in our specialist Ultrablackä genetics.
